..................... and he is dominating the bowling as usual. 115 not out for T&T against Guyana in the opening round of the Carib Cup. There was a massive crowd at the Queens Park Oval to see it too.

SOS for Lara? I doubt it but it's certainly nice to see him play alongside extremely promising youngsters like Barath, Pollard and Daren Bravo.

Why is he doing it? Does he want to make a comeback?

For a number of reasons:

1) So he can have an appropriate swansong with T & T.
2) To help T&T win another Carib Cup title.
3) To give the likes of Adrian Barath and Daren Bravo, who he has spent a lot of time mentoring over the last 2 years, the opportunity to bat with their hero.
4) To raise the standard of regional cricket.
5) To drum up interest in the tournament and raise the average attendances (a huge crowd turned up to the T&T v Guyana match).

He maintained that his goal was to make sure Windies Cricket was strong again before he retired. He also maintained he was good enough to play till he was 40.

The Prince will be back. Believe It.

I do anyway in my dreams.

And plus he can't have these Flat Track Bullies, SRT first, and then Punter second, dethroning his runs tally record.

21 year old pacer Lionel Baker broke his arm with a bouncer. He still hasn't recovered so I'm not sure when or even if he will play again.
