RIP Mrs Skully

I am saddened to have to report that Skully's Chief passed away last night.

I have been lucky enough to have met a few times over the years and she was certainly as grouse a lady as Skully described her to be.  She was definitely one of the good ones.

May she rest in peace.

I hope the pain was mostly bearable, and that she rests in peace. And I hope too that your many experiences together - the tough ones and the good ones - help to sustain you and your daughters at this emotionally awful time.

Stay as strong as you can, but mourn and grieve as much as you like. (There's no contradiction between those two!)

Very sad news. I never had the privilege of meeting the Chief but the way Skully spoke of her i'm sure we all got a sense of what a great lady she was. Deepest condolences to all.

I never met her, but from what you have told us all about the way she handled her plight so bravely over the years, she seemed the most admirable of people. My heart sincerely goes out to you at this time. I'm so sorry Skully.
