Which is exactly why you shouldn't play cricket in the middle of winter.

On a flat dead pitch that even bowlers can score 90s on, Fuse is cashing in after 3 failures. Why am I not surprised.

Re: Australia A v India
Nice to see Alex Doolan showing some form. Off the back of his unbeaten 90 in game 2 v India A, he is currently 94* in the 1st JAMODI of the 4-way series in Darwin. Fingers heavily crossed that he can emulate the last great Taswegian no. 3.
And more-miss-than-hit Fuse failed again. Interesting to see ShyT opening. Still, it is just a JAMODI.
Lil Bog going OK again. How grouse would it be if he turned into a Test class allrounder??

Having now become used to the utter opacity of nicks such as Fuse, Bog, Donga-Dinga, Ratcatcher, HerpesBait and suchlike, it confuses me when an Aussie says things like 'Alex Doolan'. I'm not sure which player they're referring to.

It'd be nice if Donga-Dinga, Ratcatcher & HerpesBait lived up to their massive potential & started performing. Â
I recommend consulting the Glossary, furburger. Â Â

Re: Australia A v India
another Australia A series v India:
The four-day squad features nine players with senior Australia experience, including NSW Blues trio Stephen O'Keefe, Gurinder Sandhu and Nic Maddinson.
Australia A four-day squad
Usman Khawaja (c), Matthew Wade (vc), Ashton Agar, Cameron Bancroft, Joe Burns, Patrick Cummins, Andrew Fekete, Peter Handscomb, Travis Head, Nic Maddinson, Glenn Maxwell, Stephen O'Keefe, Gurinder Sandhu, Marcus Stoinis.
Australia A one-day squad
Usman Khawaja (c), Matthew Wade (vc), Sean Abbott, Ashton Agar, Cameron Boyce, Joe Burns, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Patrick Cummins, Callum Ferguson, Peter Handscomb, Travis Head, Chris Lynn, Gurinder Sandhu, Adam Zampa.
Faulkner not in the squad for the Ashes, and not in the A team. Maxwell in the 4 day squad, but not the ODI squad. Some sort of strategy there, I guess.

Khwaja as cappo- does that mean he has a chance at the Test or ODI side still, or is he there to chaperone the young's with his experience?

How much will it take to buy a Gurinder Sandhu? We're willing to trade him for a Lalit Modi.
