It's a pretty good list but doesn't mention a couple of important instances I remember ...

Alderman and Border saving a Test in the West Indies in the 80's when we were dire

Allan Connolly sticking with Paul Sheahan for about 6 overs against the West Indies in 68-69 to save a game we nearly lost by repeatedly getting run out

Monty Panesar's effort in Cardiff in 2009 should have been mentioned more prominently; basically it won England the Ashes that year
