BTW Clarke is evidently still a chance to play the tests but is ruled out the ODIs at this juncture.

I think Clarke has an exceptional talent for being able to piss people off.

Some good men (Katich, Hussey) and some twats (Watson, Ponting) have all had their issues with him over the years. Lehmann joins an ever growing bunch.

Too hard tour (don't know why) perhaps? Wife problems? Just trying to protect himself for the next ten month schedule?

A tiff with Boof would be more interesting. On the face of it they seem the sort who would have differing ideas of how to run a team, and let it affect them.

It has been a talking point here and Clarke won't resile from his comments but Boof has been trying to play it down.
