McCullum bowling... just what's needed when his back and knees are all jelly.

Shehzad undoes all his build up of reputation. Bounced out and hit wicket by Anderson...
Ish Sodhi should try it next innings.

Wrecked. Jebus. I thought NZ'd have a little more about them, but Pakistan are obviously not a team to underestimate in their own conditions.

And their biggest problem is that Craig has got a couple to turn

Declared at 566/3. A lowest score of 87. 3 centuries with Misbah crabbing there in 162 balls and Younis too... barely one or two good chances for the sheep, and the ones they had, they fluffed.
Oh dear.

Let's see them bat first before making that call. They may do that with less crapiness than Aus

One would think the Paksters don't give a shit if they don't ever play another Test in Wackyville, such is their prolificness in the Emirates.

My thoughts exactly skulls.
Home away from home - and loving every minute of it with big scores and
plenty of big wins in their favour.
566 - 3 ... they really are taking (the piss) batting to a new level on those "benign" pitches.
Q. Are they unbeaten in the Middle East ?

So what's that- four tons (including a double) in Younis's last five test innings'? Remarkable run.

Nah. I know we beat them in a million degree Test by an innings in Sharjah in 2002. Matt Hayden scored a ton, and the Wackies were rolled for under 100 in each innings.Merlin wrote:Q. Are they unbeaten in the Middle East ?

Heh. I'd back England to have put up more of a fight than these Australasian sherberts.

Didn't Pakistan win the last UAE stoush with England 3-0?

Yeah, but came within 70 runs of winning two of the Tests rather than 10,000 runs or whatever the margin was in the Aus's last match. Plus, England have got rid of the disruptive influence of Pietersen so they'd play much better if the series were to take place now.

Yes. They lost to Rehman and the chucker at the height of his powers.

noticed that Cricinfo has listed the number of dot balls bowled and 4s/6s conceded in the bowlers figures. Is this a new thing? Never noticed before.
