Yesterday my ex better half (who I still see on the sly) became a grandmother...I was a (not very good) sort of step dad to her son - did not work out too well, esp when I objected to him bleeding his mother and told him it was time he got off the tit (he was late 20s at the time)...

Anyway he now has his life sorted and his partner gave birth to a son yesterday...both are over the moon

Am taking the ex BH out for celebrations today....meanwhile I have been looking after my ancient ill mother....who is obsessed by the idea of being a great grandparent ...of course I have not told her any of this news.

Most odd how life works out...For some unaccountable reason I feel elated!

Why wouldn't you, if you're seeing to your ex on the sly, AND getting a free grandsprog in a 2-for-1?
