Re: Women's Ashes
Are they doing the silly "Ashes is based on the overall Test, ODI and T20 results" again?

Re: Women's Ashes
I predict a morning of maidens in slips, occasional balls stroked through the covers, and lots of early bounce.

Aussies drawing away.
England Women going the way of the Men. (And that's not at all sexual.)

Re: Women's Ashes
So the test has been reduced to 4 points so effectively the T20s are more important.

Re: Women's Ashes
Advantage Aus after a see-saw Day 1.
Women's cricket is not invariably noted for long scores: still 2 wickets left and 260-odd on the board is a decent score & first day for the visitors.

Re: Women's Ashes
Not the most exciting passages of play. Probably not the best format to advertise the game. Ellyse Perry is a good bowler though
Re: Women's Ashes
Probably because the England W batting is not confident (or resourceful?) enough, and so those coming to the crease end up trying just to hang around. Which rarely works, except in the last couple of scheduled hours of a match.
As I guessed ^ , 270~ish was likely to be a fair bar to set first up, in the Women's game - at present stage of development, at least.
