I think his clients probably think he has one already.

Must say that Cummins is bowling pretty well. Will stop calling him BungC. I was concerned he was similarly over hyped as Lee was throughout his career but he seems to bowl with discipline and intelligence.

Stanlake is looking the mediocre trundler we all thought he was.
Re: Australia v Pakistan, 5xODIs, 13-26 January, 2017
Australia's fielding has'nt improved then. Six run from an overthrow.
Re: Australia v Pakistan, 5xODIs, 13-26 January, 2017
better than I thought he'd be, but his odd sling action works against outswing. Still he's a kid and may come onBig Dog wrote:Stanlake is looking the mediocre trundler we all thought he was.

Looks a flat deck. With a 300+ target looming, Aus top order may need to actually show up tonight.

one thing about him is that he may be the dawkiest looking bloke (ignoring his height) ever to have played for Australia.
he makes the rest of the team look like Clooney's in comparison. This means he will be very popular amongst those team mates who like to pick up.

Wackies have almost deliberately imploded since being 3-162 off 30. Hmmmm.

Every time I see him I am reminded of tgm. Even if he turns out to be 90% as good he'll have a great career.

He really needs to get wickets against the Bannies and the Poms here and Pomgolia (where he was a complete failure) Then he can be described as a fantastic bowler.

263 would have to be well below par. At 160 off 30 they should've made well over 300.

The last time we were successful in Bannietown both tgm and Dizzy had good series. We need Hazy and Koo to do the same, and of course 2 or 3 of our bats to fire.

A wickie with a better than 1 in 2 "tough chance" strike rate would help as well.

Exactly. Spin bowlers do not win you series in India which is why the makeup of the Australian squad is totally baffling.

Not baffling when you see who the selectors are.

One might have thought they would have taken note of the recent India v England series.

Seems pretty unbelievable that Pakistan picked Wahab, Rahat, and Sohail ahead of Junaid for the tests, based on this form.

Handscomb out for a silver duck on debut, and then gets a reprieve for the no ball from you-know-who.

So we got home easy thanks to Tweek and Wank. Wank a bit lucky but he does look a mature, level-headed chappie (unlike that impetuous tit NoShow). Hopefully he has a long career ahead.
And agree on Junaid. Is he retired from Tests?? If not it's inconceivable that he was not in the Test XI.
