Only problem is they live in northampton which is the irony. No offense pal, but at least your aware of its failings!
Comedy evening. Great casino, had the ashes on the 16" screens behind the dealer!
Aye. Good place to get hammered, not such a good place to walk down the street or generally be around.
You went to the crud casino anyway, the other one's much better, you can play poker with some Triads.
As for the birds, yeah, think they're spesh. The prob is, there's so many munter blokes they have to make do, which hasn't always turned out so bad for me!
Got 'married' to some sexy Saffie bird the other week who was just glad to get away from some club-foot who'd latched onto her.
Well it was an interesting site walking down the street near the centre/square bit, and see 5 oiks running down aline of parked cars, sober as judges for a giggle.
I'd have to agree that the birds are of a better level than the club-foots you describe and that were out.
We went to the one in the shopping centrey bit. Some oriental bird turned up on my table when I was up a few hundred notes, and started pulling cards. Lost about 4 of us a fair amount of money. This joined with the fact that I think it was when Giles dropped Ponting didn't go down to well.

Yeah, you probably got skanked. They're dodgy as fook. That one sort attracts more clueless p1ssheads and they try it on, a mate who worked there told me. There's one about 10 mins up that road, it's better, not that it matters now

S'called NB's. Used to be called Decadance. It's all 'Gothic' inside with a cocktail bar etc.
It's down Bridge Street, where all the w*nkstain places are... Fat Cats, Revolutions, Bar Soviet, Balloon Bar, Crush....
**cringes**
Bar Soviet?? Tell me that's a joke!

I was looking for a picture of you going the grope, but the pub was too far away for their CCTV to pick it up.

And there's quite possibly several months more to get out of that one.

Missed this thread the first time round. I've been to the 'Trip' many times. Despite being a tourist trap, its still a great pub....and they sell Rutland County Bitter on tap The Salutation Inn is another great old Pub in Nottingham.
One of my great memories of English Pubs was in 1977 after Australia had been thumped at Headingly, a couple of locals heard our accents at a pub & took pity on us. Turns out that this guys dad owned a pub called 'The Albion' & invited us back. The bloke actually apologized because "its just a working mans pub" I don't know who he thought we were but it was fantastic. It was the quintessential English pub straight out of the Ealing Movies. It had the traditional hand pulled pumps & they sold Real Ale. We stayed after closing for a session & i had a go at pulling a pint. Our hosts Grandad (who had been in the pub game all his life) declared that i was a natural.
Good times.
