In perverse way, I do hope for a cold downpour. If not for anything else, just to freeze painty man's tits.

Thank goodness for Pakistan's shit fielding. Cost them around 30 runs these  past couple of overs.

So who are the most likely winners of this pot?

Aus, SAf and India about joint favourites?

I can't see enough consistency or reliability in any of the rest.

Aus v Bangers tonight. It's a Day/Night game so doesn't air in Aus until 10.30 pm AEST.

Aus might be a rough chance.

Nice

Can't think of a worse India Pakistan match in an international tournament. I wasn't exceptionally excited with this match and expected India to win, but the manner was just so underwhelming. Ended up asleep after Malik got out.

Kimber has come a long way since his bombastic, hagiographic blogging days. Top media career, thousands of social media followers, and being quoted as some kind of pundit on insolvent cricket forums. Not bad at all.

I just thought it was a nice bit of writing. I'm not sure that he has any special cricket-analytical skills, but he's got an amusing and engaging way with words. He may not be Dello, but he's not bad.

Tamim certainly has a bit about him, but the Banger strike rate is far too tedious ATM. A slowish Tamim ton may get the Bangers to a 250 total.

Mushfecker falls lbw, despite clearly getting a thin inside edge ... but he doesn't review.

It's almost as though he didn't know he got that fine edge.

It's almost as though those who pontificate loudly and sanctimoniously that a batsman 'always knows when he's edged the ball' should reassess ...

Doing it with ease.

Will England get the better of NZ? Hmmm - not at all sure. Could easily be another early home bath.

This is not 'a game' unless 20 overs are completed, and that looks unlikely.
