Just 4 more overs needed of patting the ball directly back to the bowler, while BD waste time.

Floodlights can be useful.

When will the ICC learn?

Reserve days are required to get a result in their major tournaments

No results skew the standings to make the final results meaningless(er)

good chance to leave early, though undefeated?

If the England-Australia game is also washed out (fair chance) this could easily happen.

From ICCCT Rules:

"In the event of teams finishing on equal points in a Group, the right to play in the semi-finals will be decided in the following order of priority:

# The team with the most wins in the Group matches will be placed in the higher position.

# If there are teams with equal points and equal wins in the Group matches then in such case the team with the higher net run rate in the Group matches will be placed in the higher position (refer to 21.10.4 below for the calculation of net run rate).

# If two or more teams are still equal, they will be ordered according to the head to head  matches played between them (points then net run rate in those matches).

# In the highly unlikely event that teams cannot be separated by the above, teams will be ordered according to their seeded group position.

# If all matches within a Group are a no result, the top 2 teams from their seeded group positions in each Group will progress to the semi-finals."

So we get turfed with a washout against the Poms (assuming the snoozies beat the Bangers).

If India win the tournament, your lot can be moral winners.

as shown above ... but it's still possible for us to go through undefeated, but be eliminated (which appeals to me)

Morgan is in good form, though. The non usage of Roy in the IPL backfired for both parties (not playing him ahead of Dwayne Smith was stupid IMO).

Root out - for "only" 64, "only" going by his recent standards - so NZ are down to England's late middle order.

188-4 at 33.3.

Horrible overrate. 3.5 hours and still 6 overs to go.

Williamson should be banned too. Sometimes even makes me wish for that bullshit system of docking overs.
