Boof chucks SF under the bus for Reeks selection
6 players in 10 games since they booted Bailey (at no 4 Jamodi )
They probably should have kept Bailey (or Lynnsanity)
NSP heads should be rolling ...but they'll blame the weather

Re: Champions Trophy 2017
"Australia have not won a Champions Trophy match since their 2009 final victory in South Africa against New Zealand. While it’s only six matches, and three were washed out, it’s shocking to think the last time Australia won a Champions Trophy match Ricky Ponting was the captain, Tim Paine was the wicketkeeper, Nathan Hauritz was the specialist spinner and Peter Siddle opened the bowling!"

Re: Champions Trophy 2017
Jeez, only just saw the Ind v SA result. The chokathon continues.
With a semi final spot on the line, which version of Wackistan will show up tonight??
If Pak win (Ind will be top having beaten Pak) semis will be:
Eng v Pak, & Ind v Bangers
If Lanka win , they will go top having beaten Ind, semis will be:
Eng v Ind, & SL v Bangers
If its no result, semis will be:
Eng v SL, & Ind v Bangers

Likewise have been out bush - beach - no net and sporadic Telstra access. Can't say I have missed the frolic v the poms. Sounds like there was little frolic. I gather Reeks FFS bombed out. Now there is a shock, not.
So Boof has indicated Seasick wanted Reeks FFS. Yet again seasick shows he is not his limitations as a skipper. Suspect SS is overly influenced by Kjnr.

Re: Champions Trophy 2017
What insanity drove Aus to NOT pick Lynnsanity ahead of the stinky Reeks????!!!!! If indeed it was Smith's Captain's Call, then he's truly farked up the arse.
Reeks should immediately have his file marked NTPFAA. How it wasn't already stamped as such is beyond me!!!

Re: Champions Trophy 2017
The dullard Kjnr steps forward to accept the accolades for Reeks ffs selection. Expect Reeks FFS to start appearing in KFC ads. That is the sure signal, the wink, the tip of the hat he will be selected in the Ashes.

I see from the Dickinfo commentary that Malinga had 3 dropped off him, including an absolute sitter at mid-on off matchwinner Sarfraz with still 40 needed. Deary me.

taipan wrote:Total disgrace. AB must decide if he still wants to play international cricket. Otherwise he must fark off and take Domingo with him.
Why are they letting him pick and choose what format of the game he plays? He's contracted to play in all formats, so barring injury that's what he should be required to do.
Fabulous player, but he's coming across as a bit of a sulky pants who feels he's above the rest of the South African team.

Was listening to the BBC commentary of the Saffie game and there were no fans of ABs captaincy skills ...
G Smith wasnt quiet in his disbelief of some of the bowling changes and field settings

Re: Champions Trophy 2017
It's so obvious that Faf should be captain in all formats.
AB needs to get rid of his ego and do what's best for the South African team.
He should either commit himself fully to both test and ODI cricket, make it clear that he is retiring from tests, or retire from international cricket altogether.

Re: Champions Trophy 2017
old boy, u still around.
the way SL went about their loss, Hansie Cronje's ghost still lurks in dressing rooms.
the way it stands, cricket will never be above fixing. Except for ties between Aus & Eng.
the other teams do not have the werewithal to desist the offers or the threats.

Understandable. If Roy could'nt make runs against Australia he was always going to be a marked man.
