Will be a rain affected draw as Aust stumble to 6th in the world.

Or a 4 day win to Bangers, and we stumble to 6th in the world.

Why is anyone surprised? They should just throw the regular test team out the window when they tour Asia and pick specialist one-off touring sides. Even if the best players of spin are playing in a park somewhere.

I like your thinking, Q. Unfortch, the idiot NSP always has an "eye to the future", hence rock solids like Klinger and Bailey are never picked.

Puddle isnt bowling yet (apparently) ...so hopefully the NFFSP will rule him out on the basis he cant bowl his 5 overs of 'relief'

NFFSP - I like it.
Yes, I know you've been using it for several days now.

I don't understand why SOK was sent over as a replacement for Purple. Shirley Boof and Tweek won't drop Ajar after his T1 effort.
From our motley squad I'd go with:
GCS
Wrench
Tweek
Wank
Hoss
NoShow (no choice)
Weed (no real choice)
Ajar
2nd

Several explanations.
1 he is a Spiv
2. As part of his rehab he is in a dry country
3 He is in a 3 way with Kjnr and of his horses
4 Trump has declared war for some weird reason on the Dutch and CA are less than secret fans of the MM.
5 The NSP don't look at character or performance feeeeltheee spivs are involved.

Shakib has joined a group of four players who have a five-for against nine test opponents (the others being Herath, Steyn and Muralitharan.)
Warne, if you are wondering, never got one versus Zimbabwe, having only played them once.
MacGill has the distinction of being the only bowler to have a five-for against the World XI, and probably he will retain that distinction forever.

Re: Bangladesh v Australia, 2nd Test, Chittagong, 4-8 September, 2017
So Aus call up a 33 year old left arm finger spinner with a history of off field problems to potentially leap-frog a promising 23 year old leg spinner. How times have changed. If the off field incident wasn't a factor in him being dropped for this tour, then why wasn't he picked in the first place, considering he was Australia's best spinner in India? And if it WAS a factor, then why has he now been recalled? Doesn't send much of a message when desperation over-rules disciplinary procedure. "You may have f*cked up and disgraced yourself, but don't worry you'll only be punished if we're winning. If we're desperate, we'll still pick you."
I also note a recent tendency in the Aus media to praise "brave defeats". The cricket team against India earlier this year, and the Wallabies against the All Blacks last week. Times have changed indeed........

I guess the NFFSP are giving the message that the off field behaviour of drunkenness and inappropriate sexual comments are not as bad as the off field behaviour of being a vomit

Still hoping that Trio doesn't actually get picked for the match.

If they're dumb enough to play 3 spinners, Cummins will break down for sure.

Looks like rain might save Australia from complete humiliation in any case ... heavy rain forecast on 3 days.

Agree with those observations re. SOK. The other thing to ponder is the keeping position. Wade is shyte, but Handy should be left to focus on his batting. Take care of the keeping spot when we return. The Shield matches prior to the Ashes should decide who takes the gloves.

The wicketkeeping position will be decided by a national lottery
