England win toss and bat. Can the 3 top order batsmen picked make it count?
Well one already gone as I posted that.

Excellent work Taips.
Pomgolians might be heading for a Test team w/o a Yarp or Zimboid connection

I feel a little sorry for Jennings (although I chuckled at his comical dismissal).
They analysed the hell out of his inability to leave the ball at Trent Bridge, so he was clearly looking to leave the almost exclusive away cut of Bumrah. Then the quick pulls a big inswinger out of his bum and makes Jennings look like a gopher.
Root dodged a bullet, with a no-ball nullifying what would have been a plumb review.

Looks like Chef is set for his once in a series good score. Undoubtedly he was inspired by Mudge's confidence.

This is going to take some sort of knock to ensure a reasonable English score, as I reckon India will make a million on this deck.
