Jennings shouldn't be there, Pope should be at 6 and the rest are a complete shower, form and fight-wise. I have to wonder how much money went on India to win the series after they went 2-0 down.......

I’m seriously considering joining the #BringBackTheBelf campaign...
The options just seem to be running out. Maybe they should just ask Curran to have a go at opening? He’s shown sound technique so far, and would go in there without the pressure of a specialist.

I said at Nottingham before a ball was bowled that Curran should have kept his place last time out, especially after a M O T M performance a week before. But we have about 7 number fives/sixes/sevens at present and really, a more experimental test side can't be found around the globe just now surely? I do see India winning this game now and 2-3 has to be a very good shout.

Good man. Bring him back.
7-10 scored the bulk of the runs and saved blushes. Even Malfoy scored a few valuable runs. I expect given Curran's efforts and the obvious need for two specialist bats that Malfoy will need to take some wickets.
A good even performance from the Bannie bowlers should be acknowledged.
Pom team for the last Test if they go go belly up in this match could be:
Cook
Random Opener
Root
Bell
Thug
Pope
Bairstow
Ali
Curran
Rashid
Anderson

Maybe it’s the future, a bunch of number 6/7 type players, with the top order as sacrificial lambs given nobody can play the moving new ball. A sort of permanent nighwatchman role.
We might as well go for a proper JAMODI slog against the new ball, we wouldn’t do any worse and once in a while it would come off and win us the game.

Wow, the Currant made another cracking knock. Allrounder him?
Meanwhile it is already looking like 2-2 going to the Oval.

I see Ramprakash is on the shortlist for the Middlesex coach’s job. Please, take him. If not, he should go and be a judge on that stupid dancing show, he’s more qualified for that than his current role.

Are you ET? Three quicks and two spinners of different type. Bring Woakes in for Ali if conditions are conducive to seam

Good fightback by England to post an almost respectable score.
Re: England v India, 4th Test, Ageas Bowl, 30 August - 3 September, 2018
If we had a “traditional” tail, we would struggle to make three figures on a regular basis.
Imagine this top six followed by our infamous 1999 lower order, Read-Caddick-Mullally-Giddins-Tufnell.

Poor captaincy by Root. Should be looking to get Pujara out.

Would quite like India to win this one, it's pretty rare to get a final test decider in a 5 match series and pretty much unheard of to win a test series from 2 down (has happened just the once I think).
Would be an epic final test if that happened.

Great effort from Puttanesca. Ecoli was 2nd top score extending his great run of top or second top scores. Hope he is saving his failures for the Oz tour.

Looks an excellent fight back by England after Poonjabber & Coaly looked to be taking the game away from the hosts. Phone number effort by the lower order.
