LOL. Albo was swanning around Byron Bay (which Mr bucket can attest) last week.

The Unvax capital of Aus. Serves the silly bunt right.

Pre-poll open today - lots of signs and people outside the voting booth around the corner from us.

I was reading today that only 50% of the votes will be cast on the actual Election Day - the rest will be pre-poll and postals.

so we could be waiting a while for the preferences? (unless it's one sided)

Being driven off to a pre poll in the next week.

Really hope Scumo goes down, but I cannot see it happening.

If Albo does win, it will be because they managed to convince a small fraction of the bored and apathetic that he might be slightly less of a boring, mediocre, mendacious little turd than the other bloke.

They count pre-polls on the night. Postals are allowed to take up to 13 days to come in.

Sounds very much like our politics at the moment… crap government, uninspiring opposition, system that means anyone else is basically just a protest vote.

Thankfully the appalling election advertisements will soon stop. Through their own ads, the two major parties seem to be competing to see who can make me hold them in greater contempt, although so far both have narrowly failed to provide anything as nauseating as has the UAP. I hate them all.
