Carlton under Teague have as many wins in six weeks as they managed under their previous coach in 50 games, as many as the Grand Poo Bah before that in his last 20, as many as Shane Watson has Test centuries in a 10 year career, as many as Collingwood has Premierships in the lifetime of Jack Silvagni's grandfather, and as many wins as Brett Ratten cobbled together in HIS last half-dozen games as Carlton coach in 2012.

It was a sunny still day with a hint of Spring, enough it seemed to bring on the Wobbles.

Have played cricket against young Thomas - useful fast bowler and correct batsman with all the shots, but little patience.

He's beefed up a fair bit this year; he was just a skinny streak just 18 months ago.

Some of my mates from a good school attending the Weagles vs Dees game in the Alice
The guy front left is Cyril Snr
The bloke in the back with the hat is an intruder who was a fairly handy footballer so they let him be in the photo (Ross Glendinning)AFL 2019 - Page 6 67267532_859166307809884_4298904672908869632_n.jpg?_nc_cat=108&_nc_eui2=AeHYthDbeJbKycWHuipCpJFpiyaqK6ZdsKNuKtBPtsp8WFRgxesd0hpd3rySAfbNKigTz63QY5FYvdLClmpSpEoENz29X65L5yC9_0-kOpR6jA&_nc_oc=AQkNwEFJGWWxiBZ4UqZDSQaeDARi6sEGpGTMaFLh_oISRxtjPOA2MPJ5ZMFTtc4VhE9kp_LZQdjynWQ_xbfldJfE&_nc_ht=scontent.fper6-1

You'd have got long odds last year on Brisbane and Carlton both winning today v Hawthorn (at their Launceston "fortress") and Adelaide respectively; even longer odds on the scoreline being 87 - 20 in both games.

Hawks are officially on the nose.

1 week is a long time in football. Lions know all our secrets since Hodge and Fagan left.

Massive upset in Canberra - Hawks still in with a chance of finals, Nath. The last few weeks have seen a chokeathon from the (previously) leading teams and at this stage it seems 5 or even 6 teams may miss out on the finals by percentage alone, or one match at most. Well, eight teams are still in the running for positions 7 and 8, and only 4 sides are definitely ruled out of finals. It must be the latest in the season for some years that so many sides are still in with a shot.

I think our recent record over there isn't too bad. Maybe they will help us out by "managing" a few players? Wink

Aye, Essendon and North both flogged.

North's lowest score of all time.
