Hardly. I anticipate a massive knock from Reeks FFS with a grade support from Sausage and Tedward. 

That said the Vics bowled well pre lunch. Pattinson showed it is possible to hang around on this pitch, so the Spivs are still in with a great shot. I'm worried this match will be determined by the arcane bonus points system. The Spivs will want to score at a faster rate than the Vics and preserve more wickets at the 100 over mark. 

Top effort from Copeland in getting a Michelle. He's a clear class above his colleagues and most other Shield bowlers. 

Must admit I enjoyed the absence of wickets for O'Keefe. Losing this match would be a pain, but having that violent drunken pig playing a key role for the Spivs, let alone motm, would be hideous.

I have spent a bit of time in Perth over the years for work and observed similar. 

Lol re being asked which footy team you support. True re there being some pretentious food scenes in Melbourne. Still we are lucky to have a terrific breadth of food joints, markets and the like. You can still find cheapie priced French (yes Qmy - French) bistros where the food is not ponced up. Decent music and live entertainment can be found. 

We are crazy about sport. Unfortunately this includes the ridiculous F1 car race. A lot of inner city Melbourne folk finance a trip away by charging astronomical air bnb prices for bogans visiting from other states. One couple I know made a considerable net profit after the costs of their mini break were accounted for. Must say I do not approve.

I would not say Melbourne and Victoria is better than elsewhere in Oz. More it lacks the glaring deficits afflicting other cities and States. 

As predicted, Spivs back in the drivers seat. Reeks FFS is playing the innings of his lifetime. Surely this will advance his case to get the "all rounder" gig on the Ashes Tour, ahead of "Marsh minor, minor" and GroinsRus

Aye S. Siddle and Copeland have both bowled well in a good effort from the old blokes. OP also has bowled well. The deck has been lively and clearly the quicks have got a good batch of Dukes this time.

Vic will need to build on the lead.

Great conditions for the bowlers. Warm and humid and a northerly. Vic will lose plenty of wickets in this session.

Aye Mr K. Stands out like the proverbial. On top of his 1000 runs in the regular season, that knock should just about have him on the Noah's Ark bound for Pomgolia. Who knows though?  Langer will want gcspoc, Burns and maybe Bancroft ahead of him.

This game, despite the lead is by no means over. There will be play lost tomorrow and Sunday but the pitch will improve. I can see the Spivs chasing down a 300 target with ease.

Vic will struggle to get anywhere the 200 they need to put the game beyond reach.

If it is a draw, Vic will win. We have 1.88 bonus points and the Spivs have 0.9. Not the way the match should be determined.
