I only just realised that not only was this India's highest opening stand v SAF, but the highest stand for any wicket v Yarps.

Previous best was 268 by Seaweed and The Wall for 2nd wicket at Chennai in 2008.

But all those matches were played at virgin venues. No one had.much of a clue how they were going to play. Great series though.
