Gin is the ambrosia of the gods.
Let every morning be-
gin.
Excellent against gingivitis.
Will ginger up any conversation.
The in-gin of all progress.

Re: A million posts?
Some gin producers in Aus are converting parts of their production line for manufacture of hand sanitiser, which is in very short supply!!

Re: A million posts?
So seemingly gin (or it's alcoholic constituent) is what hand sanitiser "grows" from.

Re: A million posts?
It's based on just pure alcohol. Hopefully pure, anyway.
The "gin taste" comes from the blended addition of various botanicals (originally, as the name suggests, based on juniper - "genever" in Dutch - but any herbal flavourings and fruit/vegetable options are open).
And that's why gin has boomed as an industry. Quick & easy to make - at least, the poor stuff is easy to make. You don't need to store it away in wooden barrels for 8-10-12 years, for example. Some make it in an old sink, or that's what it tastes like.
But GOOD gin is good.

If only Sharps would do something similar instead of brewing Doombar.

Ale brewers maybe aren't as "sharp" as spirits men.

Trying to work out mustering across three jurisdictions and talking with public servants without any policy or regulatory direction (tbf not their fault) across tech I'm not comfortable with using.
Thank f most of the places have vege patches and protein on the hoof so supply priority can go to gin amongst other things. And if the medical experts are right the cheap shit chloroquin I sucked down in third world shitholes might actually help my drug and booze addled body survive.
Hope you are all well and safe and doing the right thing but remember in an emergency (out of gin) curfews are advisory until they use the term shoot on sight

Re: A million posts?
Actually, we currently sit at 924,000 posts. We are lucky to crack 800 posts per month these days. So the 76,000 posts required at that rate will take 7 years.
7 years!!!!
In our heyday we would've knocked that over in 6 months.
What a sad indictment of a once great forum we've become.
