A couple of weeks ago, I looked up a trivia question I asked on another forum back in 2006 - What was significant about the 3rd test between Pakistan and England in 1977/78? Another clue:- Prior to this match, Pakistan had played 89 test matches over a period of 25 years & for the first time in their history ............................

Anyway, we ended up discussing Raees Mohammad.

Was it the first time Mike Gatting and Shakoor Rana (later to lock horns in 1987 in Faisalabad on December 7, 1987) appeared in  the same Test?

I can't put my finger on what the Wackies achieved for the first time.
