Test re branded as The West Test
They have pulled out a couple of banks of seating and created 'a hill'
That will get them streaming in

I hope they put a bunch of sex dolls, mannequins etc there if it's sparsely populated

That could be be quite funny, if the dolls all looked like Candice Warner.

but antithetical to the notion of sex doll.lardbucket wrote:That could be be quite funny, if the dolls all looked like Candice Warner.

Not as far as Spiv/Kiwi NRL players think.

So with Warner retiring at the end of the summer, given Travis Head's great record in one day cricket as an opener, what chance he slips into Warner's opening spot in Tests?
I think we have more middle order players ready to step up than openers, with one taking Head's no. 5 spot if he moves up to open.

Form on one day wickets isn’t always translatable to form opening on a track designed to facilitate bat v ball contest!
I think Head is ideally placed at 5 in Tests. I’d not have suggested Doug Walters open in Test matches; Head is a similarly destructive player who - in my opinion - needs to be able to come in and play in that vein.

Furry muff.
I guess if the brains trust thinks it's a feasible idea they'll ask him. If he says "nah" then theory over.

Mere Marsh? He appears to have the technique though I’d still prefer to have him coming in at 6. Cam Green to fit in at the top??
I think Bancroft has earned another chance. Nine of the others competing for that place have shown enough to be chosen ahead of him (Ward, Hunt, Harris, Jewell, Pucovski, Burns, Renshaw). Whiteman must have had his file marked years ago …

Please don’t upset me Lardy! Marsh only does well on roads and his hard hands are not conducive to opening. He should be nowhere near the Oz team. At least Green has all rounder claims.

PMs XI v Pakistan at Manuka from 7 Dec
Squad announced by CA
pretty much the current second XI, minus Boland Carey/Inglis, Marsh
McSweeney is again the Skip
Top order - Bancroft, Harris, Renshaw
mid order - McSweeney Webster, Green
Keeper - Pierson
quicks - Neser, McAndrew, Stekett
Spin - Murphy

There is no chance Warner will be dropped despite his continued red ball rubbish form.
cA continues to collude in this massive fraud.
Most Oz crowds are goldfish. They will cheer him off.
Sorry for being gloomy.

Good move. Time to test those next in line as our aging Test side looks to renewal.
McSweeney must be seen as a FCAA.

So how are we feeling about Mariah being "rested" for Inglis in this Test?
I liked what I saw in India.
Nick? JInglis "Bells"?

‘JI’ takes me to Bali and 2002. Not sure how an acceptable allusion can come from that.

"Australian selectors will meet this week to pick a Test squad for the three-Test Pakistan series, which starts on December 14 in Perth"
why do we keep selecting squads so early? the PMs XI game isn't until 6th Dec.

Harris seems to be ruling himself - barely scored a run this season.
