Apparently* Cowan has bought into the Mr and Mrs GCS v Mitch Johnson debate. He described Warner as a walking wicket. Good on him.

I'm guessing JL also 'hated' Mitch calling Pat C a 'coward' in defence of himself 18 months ago. Or at least was mortifyingly embarrassed by it.
The pro-Warner half of this S Bend Great Mass-debate lamely and predictably dismissing Cowan's musings on the grounds of Cowan 'only' playing 20-odd Tests with Warner.

Cowan's comments about Warner being a walking wicket were accurate for the last Ashes in England (and the one before that).

It’s hard to think of many other batsmen who’ve made 4 tours of England without a century.

Dougie Walters comes to mind (68, 72, 75, 77) but I’m done otherwise.

Looks a very weak bowling attack for Pak. Basically afridi and some random blokes. Good toss to win. Sandman & Ozman to make 100s after all the pre match noise.

Not much happening in the air, but some nice lines, bounce, and movement off the deck. Already three edges … though all have gone to the boundary.

Warner doing what Warner has done since time immoral, and he'll do it for as long as he can get away with it. I'm a bit more worried about the other bloke right now.
