No, you misunderstood the point. I never said that he was better than Lara or Bradman or Viv.

So your point was that Sachin has inspired a lot of children? Fair enough. Irrelevant but fair enough.

He's been in the team for 19 years, say kids of 5 or 6 who got inspired by him are playing now and they haven't even come close to Vinod Kambli, let alone the little master Wink

Is it possible to be totally finite in your liking of the two.

There isn't much in it for me, Sachin's lovely classical technique, Brian's flair and strange backlift. I'd give it just to Lara though personally.

Been fortunate to see plenty of the both of them though.

Lara knows his team have lost by the time he bats for the second time so he loses most of his motivation.

Now and then he decides to draw or win matches on his own, but usually he's deeply depressed at how poor his team mates are and doesn't bother.

shrug Neither are bad TBH. Think of how many raging bunsens Sachmo's had to play on and how many up-and-downers Lara's had to play on.

They were simply greatness that stats cannot quantify. Think of how Lara played as well, just sheer entertainment, without a care for his average. Proper ledge.

Well, to be fair, Vaughan needs much more defending than Sachin.

Sachin is (forum)world-regarded as a class apart, whereas Vaughan is often called 'shit' which just totally isn't the case.

Hence Lara's bumboyness towards him.

You got your 'spanked Indian' head on then. Well done. Wink

Well, every time LLL speaks about Lara he indubitably uses the words 'sexual healing'. Now I may be an SRT bum boy, even a Shane Warne bum boy, but how low is that?
