good to see us doing well without 6-7 of our first team players. lots of the players are under 25 so encouraging for the season to come

the inaugral trophy was won by UP in dharmashala when they defeated sialkot

yeah. without tendulkar, jaffer, sharma, zaheer, agarkar, powar, muzumdar, kulkarni, etc. a few of these guys may not be around for long and in some cases will be busy with national duty for most of the time, so its extremely important that the younger generation gets its chance to prove itself. this confidence boost before the ranji season is a great plus imo, esp for youngsters like rahane

Yeah, Rahane sounds a good prospect. Only 19 yo I think. It's a disgrace Cricinfo don't have commentary for this, or atleast a summary of the day's play. And the less said about Neo the better. Does anyone have that stupid channel?

Neo is not showing this match. Match is taking place in Karachi. Apparantly some Pak channel is showing it but we don't get that channel in India.

Bombay are lucky they're not playing Karachi Rural - all that city air isn't good for the lungs, Urban can never bat for long periods. Other good Pakistani teams include the Pakistan Customs, Khan Research Laboratories, The Water and Power Development Authority (or the drips and sparks as they are commonly known) and the Sialkot Stallions.

the 6th wicket killed the match. what happens if its drawn? is it similar to ranji where 1st innings lead wins you the match? or is the trophy shared?

one-off matches like these should really be over 5 days. and for all the talk of a fast, green karachi wicket to try and hustle the bombay players this is quite a damp squib
