Nah, I'm not having that. The only reason you lot don't like 20/20 is because you're s**t.

I'm watching the highlights now. Happy days.
Wow, almost as if you're still hurting from being humilated in the Ashes.

5-nil wasn't it?

Yep, and I won loadsamoney betting on that very result. Thanks.

That's what we get for not picking YT in the squad.

I think you could pinpoint the moment that the Aussie's dismissed the twenty20 format as "Just a bit of fun" when Ponting told a camera man to "F*ck off" when he got too close to a team huddle before the start of Zimbabwe's innings.

Well done Zimbabwe. They showed a lot of fight and heart. Australia's 'rustiness' was extremely evident. No more so than when no one bothered to appeal for an extremely close run out towards the end of the game. It may well have been out as well.

Must admit I feel the same way about losing this match as I would about winning it. WGAF.

Typical Aussie response to a loss
Always better to reserve the "WTF do I care?" for after a win - otherwise one's "indifference" may be indistinguishable from sour grapes...

Just watched a few highlights, some of those shots and run outs were pretty odd.

I do find it a bit odd people trying to say the indifference of australian fans is sour grapes, 20/20 isn't well liked by the vast majority of aussies here and that was well known before last night.

I just said "indistinguishable from sour grapes". All in the timing... Razz

At least one Australian seems to be taking this seriously, though:

Drunky is embarrassed

Hardly sour grapes. Most Aussies expressed a total disinterest months before the WC even began.
Just as well the rugger WC is on. At least there is something decent to watch.

So embarrassed that he's changed his name from Ricky to Rick now apparently. Useless media still referring to Brendan Taylor as "Brian Taylor".

Belated congrats to the Zimmers. Got up this morning, heard the result, rolled my eyes, said "Fark it" and promptly avoided the forum all day!!

Ah so we faked pre tournament disinterest in 20/20(even though we were the pre tournament fav's) just in case we had an excuse if we lost to Zimbabwe.

Wow thats genius.

Congratulations to the Zimbees. The Aussies'll probably come back and win the tournament. Can't wait for the big ones (including Pak vs India; Eng vs Aus; Aus vs SA; SL vs India).
