That's right; he wasn't too bad a leg-spinner either.
Yeah, he was damn good, in between the massive hissy fits and tw@ttish sledging.

50 run win then, hurrah.
PMSL @ Schofield taking those wickets.
Now going to read back to the start of the Zimmers innings in this thread to see all the anticipated doom!

Well, they had me worried for the first 7 overs, then they fell apart once their batsman got out.

Aye, although it would have to be an absolute can of ass-whoop given the margin of victory today
Wouldn't put it past us mind.

Schofield was actually less crap than I thought he would be. At least he gives it some loop, unlike a certain hopping Seikh.

So our NRR is +2.50 Â and Aussie's NRR is -0.108 and Zim's is -1.196
So how much can we lose to Oz and still go through and how much can Oz win by and still get knocked out?

Have to reserve judgement on Phillip until I've seen the higligs. If he's owt like I saw in the T20 this year... well, as I said, World Cricket In Crisis.

So if Aus beat Eng tomorrow and it's close, Aus & Eng will go through?

Re: Eng v Zim, T20 WC, Cape Town, 13th September
I put Schofield back into my Fantasy team just yesterday (although it was a plan to beef up my batting rather than a gut feeling that he'd be a wicket-taking machine).
Interesting that my most points-scoring bowlers thus far are Vettori and Schofield.
T20: for sloggers and spinners.

Oh, and how many more times does Prior have to louse up opening before he gets shoved down to his rightful place at seven?
Ridiculous having Flintoff and Shah coming in at six and seven with two overs left, while county hackers like Prior and Wright occupy two and three.

Like this one . . .
In our favour?
No Lewis FFS.
No Dalrymple(what a tosser),
no Punessr(like for like almost though)
a better Flintoff,
no relying on Collingwood for 4 overs,
no Joyce(what an utter c**t),
no Vaughan,
no Bell.

Uhh, they are in and out merchants though. Both Shah and Flintoff looked more like 'face ball' merchants today. 20 off 12 is OK, all things considered. T'would be 200 if all did it. Not so bad.

Sounds like someone cares . . .
On a serious note, did you know that the winner of this tournament won't be World Champion? This is only a practice tournament and the first official World Champion will be the winner in the 2009 tournament in England . . . weird!
