Not sure about Bops for the test team just yet. It was only in the winter people were saying he looked a little out of his depth in Sri Lanka

He can't be anymore out of his depth than Collingwood currently is. Plus, he's been superb against some really good attacks this year.

I'm not sure he's suited to batting with the tail though. He's been batting at, what, 3 and 4 for Essex this season? He's had time to build big innings. That said, with Broad in the side, perhaps he'll be a bit better off down there.

And how are Derbyshire doing in their FP Trophy Quarter-Final, LLL? Remind us also of how successfully Derbyshire are performing in the (second tier of the) County Championship?

Who did they lose to last, I suppose would be a less roundabout way of phrasing the question...

Not true. He loved it at Derbyshire. But some tw*t thought he was on the verge of losing it and decided to go for the younger (and half as good) Travis Birt.
