Instead of a bowl out, they should play an extra 1 over innings for each side, and whoever has the most runs off their one over wins.

How about this idea...

If a pool match is tied both teams receive one point.

I know it's radical, but it just might work.

Would the 1999 semi-final at Edgbaston have been improved by a bowl out/extra overs? I think not.

Exactly, what was the point of it, except for the Paksters to display their ineptitude. Oh, I guess for some added excitement too, as if that match needed anymore! Very Happy
