My influence on the cricket world grows greater by the day.

Still can't get England to pick Owais Shah for Tests though...

On your bat.

Wonder if Middlesex have anything planned. McGrath played a season for them back in the day and they're already playing their limited overs games this season in pink as part of a breast cancer charity link up.

About $75,000 has been donated to their foundation since I checked yesterday evening. Nice.

And good work from Dello, too.

She has been in and out of remission numerous times in the past decade. Unfortunately she died from complications after an operation on a brain tumour.

This article from The Australian sheds some light on her recent relapse. She recently suffered a stroke and close friends such as Steve Waugh and his wife knew how very ill she was.

It was reported on tonight's news that Jane knew over the past few weeks that she was gravely ill and she helped plan her funeral, choosing some of the hymns she wants as part of the service.

Incredibly poor post, even from a serial grub like Robi.

No surprise tho.

The funeral is today. Sky news was trumpeting last night that it will 'be crossing live to the service to keep viewers up to date'.

F*cking vultures.

They're not as bad as Channel Eddie, who lead their news on Sunday with two 'stories' to promote their other shows.

So the funeral must be complete by now. Have any of you seen the clips on news? If yes, how was Glen McGrath? I just hope he is not too devastated!!

He is undoubtedly devasted but apparently was quite composed today. I guess he has had a while to prepare.

In attendance today was pretty much a whos who of recent Australian cricketers other than those in the Caribbean, as well as pollies and others.

One of the songs was "Always look on the bright side of life" which I thought was a bit tacky although the sentiment is a good one.

I found the comprehensive coverage and all those photos, a bit distasteful really. Sometimes people have to be left alone.

Good to know that your kids are fine. I was asking about Glen and Jane's kids--James and Holly!
