Oh.

Apparently they blew bubbles at the end of the service.

In answer to Chandan's question about the McGrath children at the funeral, young James looked pretty sad like his father but young Holly (just 6) happily played with her friend and blew soap bubbles.

And Bubbles is Doug Bollinger, hence lardy's bad taste alert at the top of this page.

Thanks Skully.

It was shown on Indian news channel as well. Glen McGrath appeared to be on the verge on tear while freeing those three doves. Sad

I freely admit to getting a bit of a lump in the throat while watching the coverage, especially when they started playing Robbie Williams' Angels.

Not yet.

What difference a week or so makes - the current headline on that link is: Watson sets sights on Test return
Which is more the sort of thing one would have expected.

Poor Glenn. And Holly and James and all the rest of the family.

So many people mention 'heroism' and 'courage' when talking about athletes, but Jane McGrath deserves those words far more.

Hangin' in thanks. The whole Jane McGrath thing hit us a bit harder than most. We were quite gutted. Especially given the song played at the end of the service was the same I'd picked out when things were a lot grimmer.

Anywho, enough of that. My thoughts are with big Pidg in his and his kids grieving.
