Suprisingly our fielding has been good again, good bowling at the end won us the match imo, top order still a worry. GET RID OF NAZIR!!!

I'm conviced more with every game how lucky we were to win the 1st match with Agarkar and Sreesanth playing.

Just to correct Charles Colville on Sky Sports, Pakistan have not yet qualified for the semis.
If Bang beat SL, Aus beat SL, and Bang beat Pak, all 3 of Bang, Aus & Pak will be on 4 points and NRR will decide who qualifies.

Just realised, the two dregs at the bottom of the barrel play eachother tomorrow, and I don't mean SA V NZ.
I hope Agarkar is not yet dropped.

doctorspin: thanks for 'forking' my team again today, it seems to work better than my praying!!!!
First time, since that great match at Headingley during '99 CWC, that Pakistan have beaten Australia in a major competition - and Aus have opened the gates to defeats, twice so far this competition.
Thank you so much Misbah and Malik, great result.

in reply hayden and gilchrist get australia off to a flier before the new spin twins - afridi/alam - bring pakistan right back into it with 4 wkts a piece. ponting goes for a first ball duck.
the game ends in a tie and pakistan lose the bowl out. pak forummers on pakpassion drive themselves into a frenzy (http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/showthread.php?t=45933) trying to convince themselves it wasn't a loss.
would make my day.
Dear Ash:
You must be suffering a terrible day! No matter, if Pakistan can beat Aus, I am sure my 'Indian brothers' can too - good luck.
Yours sincerely,

Honestly, I don't care if we do not progress further. We were undefeated against India (ignoring bowl-outs), and we've won our matches, practice before tournament, and in it, beating two of the strongies - Aus and Lanka.
Just heard Lawson's interview on 5Live, what a lovely man.
Edit: pity we won't be playing some teams in the other spectacular8's group. Would like to have seen Pak vs Eng play in this tournament.

Don't worry about Pakistan - worry about India choking again (as they did in the New Zees match) against England and South Africa

The only team that really choked in this tournament is Pakistan really. 1 off 2 balls.
And why should we be ignoring the bowl-outs? Because Pakistan lost?

Henry wrote:Well played Pakistan. Misbah justifying his inclusion over Yousuf. Well actually they should have picked Misbah AND Yousuf and left out that kamakaze joker Nazir.
Dropping Yousuf was correct after seeing 2020 in Pakistan over the last 3 years.
He never was able to start and score quickly whereas Misbah was amoung highest scorers.
Another reason for dropping Yousuf was his fielding and after seeing near flawless fielding performances from Pakistan dropping Yousuf and Razzaq is understandable.
I remember only 2 drop chances from pakistan in 4 matches so far plus running between wickets has improved tremendously without Inzi and Yousuf

Nine actually showed this on a 45 minute delay last night (and tried to pass it off as live). The amount of delayed sporting coverage on FTA in Australia is 'hella' festive. It's okay in cases like this game when Fox is showing it live as well but often, particularly with AFL games (and leeeeeg, I guess), we're stuck with no other alternative.
Question for other forummers - does your country ever show sport on a delayed telecast?
