Of course, it's the intention behind the way you use any term that can be taken as offence.

Not at all. In fact, it is okay for two men to walk down the streets holding hands in Pakistan (we're tactile people), whereas my hubby and I nearly got arrested in Lahore for being, hardly, intimate.

I'm barred from a town pub for giving my missus two little kisses. The landlady had this mad go in front of a packed pub. I ended up sitting on the pool table finishing my newly bought pint. Next thing I know I get cracked round the head with a pool cue and it all went downhill from there.

I saw Imran in WC in '92, he came out like a cornered tiger and he was certainly swinging it both ways.
