Erk, if Ollie doesn't play, the batting looks awfully skinny.

Ranga betta pull his red head out of his @rse and show some form with the bat cos Haddit at 6 isn't a good look.

Although there are now five specialist bowlers if we accept that McDonald performed his role well in the first two tests and he at #7 may be just as likely to make runs as his counterpart Boucher.

Just for a change of script, Ricky's won the toss and elected to bat.
The small Morkel replaces the big Morkel; bound to cause family friction.

Hilfy can't be much of a batsman if McGain is ahead of him

Re: South Africa vs Australia, 3rd Test, Cape Town, 19-23 March
Pitch and conditions The weather looks perfect. We should have five days of cricket if the teams stretch the game that far. Robin Jackman did the pitch report: "The pitch is bare at both ends but I believe the bare patches are pretty full and so the spinners will have to depend on natural wear and tear and bowler's footmarks. There is some dampness on the surface. It will be slowest today and should quicken up as the sun comes down. It looks a batting track."
Greg Blewett just said that Kallis "is not the most exciting person around". The master of understatement.
And apparently the Saffies have a plan C and D to combat Hughes.

Not really ...it's a decision of the selectors and neither brother has any say in it

Yep, remember that and junior got a ton on debut. BJ and Clark think the Aussies will be happy that there's no Morne there despite his waywardness.

Re: South Africa vs Australia, 3rd Test, Cape Town, 19-23 March
Good first 30 minutes for Aus and a very scratchy 2nd 30 minutes on a pitch offering plenty of sideways movement.
Excellent spell from Ntini. Could've had a couple. Can't help but PMSL at the Yarps appalling use of the referral system.
And I wonder how many times Phil Hughes has had the term "fark, you're an @rsey qunt" blurted at him by bowlers and the slips during his Grade, FC and Test career?
After all that, it's Aus 0-29 at the 1st Drinks break.
