I'm just saying that after the enthusiasm with which certain countries have welcomed Bangladesh, and the number of tours they've made of some countries, the expansion of the Test world must continue.

Remind me. How many times have Bangladesh played a test series in India?

I think you've picked up my point, but perhaps the sarcasm didn't come across as intended...

Must admit, i interpreted your post to be suggesting that India likes easy games against minnows.

Drop the Zimmers and the Bangas and give them a go I say. Couldn't do any worse. Though home matches might be a problem.

Could add a whole new meaning to the phrase 'the pitch is a minefield'.

We're gonna have to find a nickname for them. "Affies", "Ghanis".

Could be interesting for World Cricket. If these guys can actually make a go of it, then they might be the most worthy promotion to Test Cricket since Sri Lanka.

However, we thought Zimbabwe were a good call a few decades ago, but I don't think anyone for-saw their demise. As for Bangladesh, even a kitten could foresee their fall from....dis-grace.

How is a team with only one win against the Windies 5th string (in 9 years of Test Cricket) still classed as a "test nation". It's quite beyond me.

There will be a thread on Noor Ali, very soon. Most underrated overrated batsman/bowler/fielder who is a flat-track bully but does well under pressure on green-tops.
