so that we can rape them
Well if it's the English it shouldn't hurt too much.

He clearly thinks that Adebayor is still an Arsenal player. Asked about the kick to Van Persie, he said he didn't see it. That's not like him - he usually has a tantrum when one of his players is on the receiving end.

Look on the bright side - Norwich didn't win.
For me, it's a good time to be a Manchester City fan. For the first time in about 30 years.

No-one ever asked! And to be fair, for most of the last thirty years, keeping it quiet has been a good thing.

Anyone catch Gary Linekar bringing up Alan Shearer booting Neil Lennon in the face when Big Al was punditising on Adebayor raking Van Persie on MOTD?
Funny.

JK's winless Ipswich next then. We're unbeaten in six away games, Ipswich haven't won all season, Roy Keane's a c*nt, JK's a c*nt - that says home banker to me.

Fark me, no need to reverse woof that fixture. We're doomed.

I make it 33! I've always considered you a veritable pillar of this furum community, Shoeshine, and I think that revelation of your footballing allegiance fully vindicates my opinion.

I thought Shoeshine had given it away once before with his reference to United coming from Stretford not Manchester - but maybe it was you that said that?Jontyh wrote:Shoeshine wrote:

You're perhaps only outnumbered on here by Forest fans - at least we admit to it even when we're still crap Perhaps there should be an icon for people's football (or other sport) teams along with the cricket ones we have on here already!

I think that was my comment about the Reds, Beamer.
I don't think you've been crap as long as we have, mind. Weren't you still winning the European Cup in the early '80s with that great Clough side?
I reckon I could still name most of that team still!

Well, I was about 2 at the time so don't remember it too well, could still name most of the players though... do remember the later years of the Clough reign though, with an exciting young team built around Stuart Pearce, Des Walker, Nigel Clough etc. when Wembley finals became an annual event.
I went to his final game in charge when we were relegated against Sheffield United, we had our moments in the years that followed but not too many in more recent times - it's 10 years out of the top flight now.

Not to mention Roy Keane! It was a shame in his latter years that Cloughie became something of a caracature of himself. The booze had taken too strong a grip by then, and he was often pissed in interviews and given to kicking off on the touchline.

Actually, Keano was probably after Cloughie's time but yet another example of a great player to have come through Forest.

Clough actually signed Keane from Cobh.
I remember Keane playing in Cloughies last game as Forest manager at Ipswich because I were there!

But was Keane, coming from Cobh, keen tp play for Clough, or was he scared of being considered a queer cove and getting foughed off?

It's all down to my father. At the time he said he'd had about 40 years of misery and didn't see any reason why I should get away with it (he says his father did the same to him). And that 30 dates from my first visit to Maine Road as an 8 year old, where instead of doing what they've done ever since (manage to snatch defeat from the most promising of positions) they instead decided to hammer Crystal Palace en route to an FA Cup final appearance - the last time they've got even close to winning anything. I hate them, despise them, loathe them. But then they do things like Gillingham Div 2 play-off, or beating Spurs 4-3 after being 3-0 down with 10 men. It's a special thing no-one else can understand.

1-0 wins for Manu & Chelski in the Champs league.
Comes round so quickly these days, getting tres bored with it...
Forest do peg Ipswich back - fully deserved according to a mate at the game. We're going down.

We've drawn 7 consecutive away league games. Boooooooorrrrrriiiiiiiinnnngg.
Seems like we could've won but for Mc(H)auley dragging Dele down when a one-on-one was beckoning. Looks a bit bleak for Ipswich if they can't beat us - we always break ducks like these.
