Seriously, good attacking batting from the Indians. Well done.
How was the dew? Seems the Aussies bowled very waywardly . . . dew a factor or just plain crappiness?

Probably a bit too early in the year for the dew to become an important factor, though having seen only the last 4 overs of this match, can't comment.

Just plain crappiness then. Fair enough.

Oh, careful, that's bound to bring out Buckaroo and his "it's all a Dewish conspiracy to make the world eat more bagels" dribble.

Like when I feel asleep in a phonebox at Oktoberfest and woke up with a heavy Dew on me.

Honestly....it was true crapiness, very surprising to see it from the Aussies, but their discipline in the bowling dept. was well short.tac wrote:doremi wrote:Probably a bit too early in the year for the dew to become an important factor, though having seen only the last 4 overs of this match, can't comment.

Front-foot no-balls really hurt you in T20 and Oz were profligate in that respect.
ATM they are giving away near-England quantities of extras, which was also a feature in the 50 over series.
The Indian bats did play very well though, so a combination of that and poor bowling = crapiness squared.

Don't think many people really give a shit about T20. I'm just waiting to bait the poms when you lose the rugby . . .

Won't be much of a bait - I reckon most Poms think we're long odds to win tonight.
Still, got to be in it to win it...

I only watched a couple of overs of the end of the Aussie innings, but in hindsight we really should have played Hoggy!!! instead of Hodge.

Australia has won 100% of the T20s that YT has played in. Without him they've only won 45% of the time.

Farkin Hodge FFS. Surely his purile form on this tour confirms your assertion Ross. And I'll never go lightly on SHYTYT until he learns to turn the odd leg break.
