As they are one ordinary and one very poor one-day side who perhaps aren't all 100% up for more serious cricket after the Ashes, then why don't they just go out there and try and give the crowd some entertainment and value for money? Play it like a longer T20, try and hit sixes and fours. Although I don't suppose the pitches have helped in terms of producing good one-day cricket, so the groundsmen have to take some of the blame along with the players.
