And - as pointed out in the appropriate thread - gives Gus the lead in the CDG for this year.

Re: RIP Patrick Swayze
There wasn't a specific thread about Swayze. Just the regular Celebrity Death Game thread.

Re: RIP Patrick Swayze
Spooky moment
Was watching an advert for "The Beast" on ABC2 this morning ...and I said to TLA that I was surprised that Swayze was still living (as Pancreatic Cancer is a nasty qunt) ...then opened my news emails with the headlines that he was dead

I love his quote, "My father ensured I had Martial Arts training when I told him I wanted to dance. He said if you're gonna dance you'd better learn to fight."
Definatley having a check-up.

Aye, RIP.
One of the good guys of Hollywood, it seems.
20 months fighting pancreatic cancer ... one helluva scrap.

I never got the Monsieur Banal He-Man figure. If you've got one, can I swap it for my Bumble-Bee Transformer figure, only I've got two of those.

Sad loss. Didn't like his stoogey acting career. But his star performance was over the last two years.

Re: RIP Patrick Swayze
The television programme 'The Beast' was excellent, and he was very proud of it.
Saw a documentary on him in which he said he worked very hard on the programme whilst feeling terrible most of the time.
Rest in Peace.

Maybe now he will make the sequel to Ghost?
...I'll get my coat.
In all seriousness though, RIP.

There's nothing wrong (within limits) with cracking jokes about people who've just died. Hope people do it when I go.
