p.s i wonder how many cricketers Sachin has played with or against who were BORN after he started his career.....i can think of M Aamer ,who else??

I despise the man with the up-most intensity. I used to like the channel nine commentary. Back when Richie was the anchor and Bill and Tony had their banter going. They'd also have at least one international commentator giving his views. It was reasonably balanced.

These days it's all "Ooooorrr shot! Ponning! Ahhorhorhor, reminds me of you Slats! You were like that? Your running between the wickets, eh... Hahaha, let's go to the pub and have a few, eh? Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi, OOOORRR SHOT!! Moikal CLAAAARKE! ON FIRE!!! OOOHHH YES! LOOK AT THE BLOND BOMBSHELL WATSON!!!!!! SO BIG! SO STRONG! AUSTRALIA ON FIRE WITH ENGLAND NOW 577-6!!!!! I played a drinking game once with a cricket fan mild interester whereby we watched the Ashes 06/07 DVD (strine version[not sure if there's an Anglo version]) and we had to do a shot and half a pint every time Bill Lawry went 'Bang!'. Got ultra-steamed.

I'd like to turn down the TV and have the radio commentary, but the radio is always a couple of seconds ahead of the TV. I know this can be fixed with digital radio but they're quite expensive.
