AFL Grand Final 2009 Thread
I think we need a separate thread for this. It may well be the biggest sporting event in Aus this year.

Worth a go.
So, Saints or Cats?
And should I add a poll?

The question may well be how will the Saints react to the expected bad weather? Playing most of your footy in the cosseted, undercover conditions at the Dome won't help them much if it's pissing down rain and windy.

Cats - but I think the weather will mean a low score so even 2 goal difference will be a floggingn

Omens.
Of the last 20 GF teams to take the field with that year's Brownlow Medalist on board, 12 have lost, 8 have won.
St Kilda lost two games this year, back-to-back losses. The last side to make a Grand Final with a siilar record was Carlton in 1995, who won.
