Skully to be fair I was coming off a low base when it comes to female Federal politicians. I'd previously had drinks in the middle of Arnhemland with Bronwyn Bishop and Mandy Vandstone. When Julia and I got on the piss (very lightly and with two other people) at South Alligator in Kakadu it was something of a refreshing change.

Though to tell you the truth Mandy was more fun. She tried to drink me under the table and almost succeeded.

The only female pollie I have ever had the "pleasure" of sharing company with was Ros Kelly over dinner - a group of us. None of us could get a word in as she told us how farkin good she was.

I have met Brendan Nelson and he seemed a very likable, though very short, bloke.

One wonders what makes these people get into this caper.

Mandy's not that bad. Bishop would've been next choice if Himmler had turned down Hitler.

Laurie Oakes wrote a good article about it a couple of weeks ago. Power. I mean WTF would Rudd or Nelson do it. It's not like they're short of a quid.

I have also met the current NSW Minister for Transport, David Campbell. If ever there was a toad that epitomised "fat, goanna-esque" politicians it is this fat qunt. What a rude obnoxious individual he was.
