Indian media: A simple question...
I think its quite clear that Indian media is the most morally bankrupt thing to emerge since the birth of Lalit Modi so the question is why aren't these guys sued to financial bankruptcy that will match their moral bankruptcy?

Re: Indian media: A simple question...
these days there is a 100% ban on any Indian TV channels in my house
plus its not a question of me reading it or not its a case of sheer lack of honesty and how they are able to get away with fabricating stories day after day.

the indian media has its share of bad apples. overall i think its not too bad. certainly the best in south asia and probably better than most of the other asian countries as well. a few more good journalism schools would help

One will find that there is always a level of trash / tabloid journalism in any open democratic society. That is true for the US and UK as it is for India. It is one of the prices for freedom.
The judiciary in these open socities also allows any of these newspapers to be sued if one cares to
The alternate to that is the state / thugs telling their citizens and institutions on how to live their lives / run their business. I know which I would rather have.

It's bad, but you should know which one's are good and stick with those, which is probably true for most countries.
