Billy was good, bit shocked as to how old he is (and how old that makes me)...last time I saw him was at the Concert Hall...this time it was at a suburban theatre...

House is kinda inspired by a Roman villa we saw in Pompei; central courtyard, high external windows...we've got a crazy German architect mate working on it...very early on, but hope to be in sometime in 2014.

As I said, I was surprised Billy's still functioning as an artist. Seems he can still sell a crowd.

As for the house - are you out of your mind? Is it so horrie can feel at home when he comes to stay?

Na the house will be great for this climate, plenty of light but private. It should all come off, but that's what the architect is for.

Actually times are tough in investment banking land so they probably just booked the cheapest tickets they could get rather than worry about what their guests might actually like.

Frankly, I'm going for the meal before hand and booze afterwards.

Saw Elton a couple of years ago in Hobart. He may be a fat old git but he still pumps out a good tune.
