CBER may quit cos he's a soft cheat
"I am 37 years old and I can't chuck as much as those days because I get tired after 15-16 overs. But I will try and play a little bit of one-day cricket - that's only 10 overs to chuck. If I find everything is not going well I might retire from both forms of the game before the World Cup, or I might not. I'm basically an attention seeking whore.
Everything depends on how much my body can take. In Test cricket it's a little bit harder because I have always been a threat to other sides by cheating [but] at the moment it's not looking like that because others are playing me well. I think I made the right decision to retire from Test cricket at the end of the West Indies series next year because I'm basically a disgrace to game of cricket.

He's been rumbled - I haven't looked it up, but I bet his strike in the last year or two is no better than most other spinners currently playing.

Does this mean Swanny will now ascend to his rightful place as the best off-spinner in world cricket?

Not before Gentle Benn, Jay.

Can he bowl with his other arm, then?
Perhaps he should try it out in a game, as the slow lefties aren't working out for him...

I can see the headlines. Murali Chucks ...It In. Murali Bends ....Before Time. Murali Throws..It Away..
And so on.
And so on.

Murali throws in the towel. Warne drifts it on middle and it dries up the runs.

Looking forward to the Murali tribute thread when he does eventually give it away

No chance before he gets to 800 wickets.

Love the picture Dickinfo chose to run with the story. Then again, you'd be hard pressed to find one that doesn't include a kink in the elbow.
