Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Was a long, hard slog (and now I appreciate why Ange didn't follow up her successful 2007 effort with a sequel last year), but we got there in the end.

Glad someone liked the captions - they were supposed to be the focal point. But then I soon realised that I could get a cheap laugh from pictures that perfectly represented the cricketing world (everyone is fat, gay or both. Or an elf) and all bets were off.

Finally, one I didn't use as I couldn't come up with a caption which wasn't a lame play on receiving an unwanted present and it being a real slap in the face:

Turkey slap! I could've shoe-horned some kind of Christmas turkey slap reference. Damn it - a missed opportunity.
