True! It would be better that we play some tests at least even if it is against NZ if no one else is available. I find it curious that WI toured us just twice last 2 decades. I can't understand why we have had only 5 series against them since the fog end of the 80s - 3 away and 2 at home?

Incidentally Lara played only one series against us at home way back in 1994 though he retired just 2 years back.

BCCI it 'seems' has waken up to the both the fan and media furore and is now proposing a 2 test/3 ODI series to SA instead of the 5 match runfest....
