KFC Big Bash

Well, it was pretty craptacular from where I was sitting.

The fireworks were good, though

I'm going to the Dubber v Banjo Massive Wank on Wed night (13 Jan). Maybe I should give it a miss given the sh!tness of the Spivs.

I only get to see the Blues play a couple of times a year so I was bitterly somewhat disappointed .. but Marsh batted beautifully so it was well worth the trip out to the WACA. I like seeing shots like he played in the context of a T20.

How did Mitch Marsh look as a bowler , Simkat?

I've heard a couple of the umpires rave about him

In all honesty, hard for me to say. The trainwreck that was the Blues batting obscured the finer details of the bowling for me - some of the dismissals were so soft it was beyond belief. Plus all the ppl I went with were giving me heaps - towards the end I was praying for a hattrick just to end the torture asap

If we get back from fishing earlier enough on Sunday, I might go out and see them play the Vics.

And is it at the SCG or Homebush? If Homebush, they've changed the direction of the pitch to East-West, meaning really short straight boundaries, and long square ones.

I hope Gayle is playing tonight - a good way to spend a Sunday night I reckon - watching Gayle taking Victoria apart.

The Sunday Spiv rag said it was unlikely Gayle would play. Shame - ahead-to-head between Gayle and Bravo may have been good to watch.

That's a shame. He and M.Marsh are the two most interesting Warriors from this neutral's point of view. Both won't be there.
