Virtual Villager . . .
I'm not a gamer, but I know a few forummers are, so I'll ask . . .
Had coffee with a couple of grad students at one of the unis I do work for and they were going on about how they got hooked on something called Virtual Villager since they've been in Japan.
Is it worth having a look at? If so, where can I get a freebie?

Not heard of that one tac, but thats not suprising. There are copious numbers of role playing games released in Japan that never make it to the west.

Is that the game that's causing controversy because it simulates paedophiles picking up kids in the park?

That sounds something like it was described. I see that Henry prefers his own "special" type of game . . .

Someone I know was playing this game and he got stuck in the island and needed virtual cash to get off it. He was then asking all members of that particular forum if they had some virtual cash to spare.

It is ok.You never get off the island.Go to reflexive.com to
download the demo.Virtual villagers 2 is better than the 1st one.It is a very slow game.I couldn't finish it without looking at tips and tricks on reflexive.
